Hollis Marguerite Rigney (Editor-in-Chief) is a non-binary queer poet who lives and works in Orange, CA and San Diego, CA. They have published work under the names of Hannah Teves and Hollis Teves. Their work has previously appeared in Calliope, Sapere Aude, The Messy Heads, Neologism Poetry, Eudaimonia Press, Ghost City Press, Bone & Ink Literary Magazine, and Blanket Sea Arts & Literary Magazine. They are also the editor-in-chief of The Fruit Tree, a literary magazine for LGBT+ writers. They enjoy listening to folk music and snuggling with their kitten, Tofu. CONTRIBUTING EDITOR APPLICATIONS

The responsibilities of the contributing editors are as follows:

Review all writing and art submissions.

Rate and comment on all submissions.

Work with authors to revise accepted submissions.

Follow all deadlines.

As needed, individual contributing editors will perform other responsibilities. These will be determined when contributing editors first join The Fruit Tree, but may be changed ovr time. Some of these responsibilities include:

Manage The Fruit Tree Twitter.

Manage The Fruit Tree website.

Design and format each issue of The Fruit Tree.

Organize submissions.

Contributing editors are also guaranteed workshops with the Editor-in-Chief and other editors for any pieces that they would like to contribute to The Fruit Tree.

In order to apply to be a contributing editor, you must fill out this application. Please include a resume and an original piece of your writing of any genre.
​
We are looking for people who have strong writing and editing skills. Previous editing experience is appreciated but not required. The ability to offer constructive criticism to a variety of genres and styles is an absolute requirement.
